3 / 4 I'd recommend trying it
Appearance Pale golden, clear and bright with fine carbonation and a white head. Clean and inviting in the glass. Looks exactly like a California afternoon should.
Aroma Light and pleasant — a gentle floral and slightly citrusy hop note over clean, soft grain. Nothing demanding, nothing aggressive. The kind of aroma that smells like it belongs on a patio, at a concert, on a boat, or at a tailgate.
Palate Light-bodied, smooth, and crisp. A soft malt sweetness through the middle — bready, slightly honeyed — with the hop character providing a gentle citrusy brightness that keeps the palate engaged. At 20 IBU there's a real bittering presence that sets it apart from a light lager, but it never crosses into hop-forward territory.
Finish Clean, dry, and refreshing. Short to medium length, the citrus hop note fading cleanly and completely. The finish is what makes 805 a repeat beer — it resets completely and makes the next sip as inviting as the first.

805 is the Central Coast in a can. Firestone Walker built a beer that feels like the place that made it — easy, approachable, reliably good, and completely at home anywhere from a Paso Robles winery patio to Oracle Park to a beach in Ventura. Cheers.
