3 / 4 I'd recommend trying it
Appearance Hazy golden with a white head. The New England format delivering soft opacity — lighter and more approachable than a full NEIPA, exactly right for a 5.6% pale ale base. Looks light and refreshing before the aroma confirms the fruit promise.
Aroma Citrus and melon upfront — both of Dogleg's descriptors arriving together. Citrus bright and approachable, melon softer and more rounded, both sitting on a clean pale ale grain base. Full mouthfeel promised by the hazy base even before the first sip.
Palate Light and refreshing with a full mouthfeel from the hazy format. Citrus and melon carrying through the middle cleanly, 30 IBU providing gentle structure rather than assertive bitterness. Fruit-forward rather than hop-assertive.
Finish Short, clean, and citrus-forward. The melon quality fading with a gentle hop bitterness that resolves quickly and completely. Light and refreshing to the last sip.

Dogleg's hazy counterpart to Ko Low — same pale ale DNA, different format, different experience. Citrus and melon, full mouthfeel, 5.6% ABV, light and refreshing. The fruitiest hazy pale at the golf course taproom in Vista. Trust the shot.
