Appearance Expect a golden to light amber pour, likely with a touch of haze given the modern hop-forward pale ale style. Bright white head, lively carbonation.
Aroma This one's going to hit you immediately. Mosaic and Strata are both big aromatic hops — tropical fruit, passionfruit, ripe berry and a little dank earthiness lead the charge. Comet adds a pungent, almost wild citrus note underneath, and Luna softens the whole thing with a floral, peachy quality. Complex for a pale ale — more layers than you'd expect at first sniff.
Palate Medium-light body, approachable and sessionable in the pale ale tradition. The fruit character from the hop bill carries through the middle without going full juice-bomb — this is still a pale ale, not a hazy IPA. Clean malt backdrop lets the hops do all the talking.
Finish Dry and refreshing with a lingering tropical and citrus note. The Strata shows up here with a little dank resin on the back end — just enough to remind you there's some serious hop engineering going on under the fun name.

Two Central Coast breweries, one seriously fun hop bill. The name sets expectations perfectly — this isn't a serious beer, it's a celebration beer. Four hops covering a wide range of modern pale ale character, making a hop-forward pale ale that's as fun to drink as the name suggests. Party Pants delivers.
