Appearance Bright orange — one drinker notes it pours bright orange with minimal head, which tracks perfectly with a tangerine-forward sour IPA with lactose. Opaque and vivid in the glass, looking more like juice than beer. That's the point.
Aroma Tangerine — immediate, generous, and described by one drinker as simply "very very tangerine," which is both accurate and complete. There's a freshness to the citrus character that's distinctly tangerine rather than generic orange — slightly sweeter, slightly more floral, with a characteristic brightness. The lactose adds a soft, creamy sweetness underneath that rounds the citrus without obscuring it. The IPA hop character sits in the background, adding a subtle fruity-floral quality that amplifies the tangerine rather than competing with it.
Palate Orange juice and tangerine carry through the middle in full concentration — juicy and delicious, as one drinker puts it. The lactose provides a smooth, rounded mouthfeel that keeps the sour acidity from going sharp or aggressive. Like bubbly juice, mimosa-rific — another drinker's descriptor that nails the accessible, fruit-forward character at 7.3% ABV. The IPA bitterness is present but soft, integrated behind the fruit and lactose rather than asserting itself.
Finish Short, citrus-bright, and clean. The tangerine character and lactose sweetness resolve together, leaving a refreshing, mimosa-adjacent close that makes the next sip as easy as the last. The 7.3% ABV is woven throughout but never hot.

American Solera built the best version of a tangerine sour IPA from a brewery that most people haven't heard of in a city that doesn't get enough credit. Lactose, tangerines, 7.3% ABV. Nice orange-tangerine sour — easy sesh.
